Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Accounts Payable (AP)
Location: Remote (EST/CST preferred)
Duration: 8+ Months with possible of extension
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support Global Finance initiatives focused on Accounts Payable (AP) processes. This role will be part of an Agile team supporting ERP systems, primarily PeopleSoft, with involvement in AP and Asset Management sub-ledgers.
Required Skill:

• Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst

• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and systems

• Experience with PeopleSoft (Workday is a plus)

• Strong experience in testing, including:

Writing test cases and test plans
Executing and validating test scenarios

• Experience with Jira

• Expertise in business process mapping and process improvement

• Strong analytical and data analysis skills

• Proven ability in troubleshooting and problem-solving

• Experience with project coordination/management:

Managing timelines
Tracking deliverables
Creating project plans

• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

Preferred:

• Experience with Workday Financials

• Experience with AP integrations

Job description:

• Act as a Business Systems Analyst supporting AP-related initiatives within ERP systems (PeopleSoft/Workday)

• Collaborate with Agile pods to support Finance and ERP applications

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements

• Develop technical and functional specifications

• Lead and support testing activities, including:

Test case creation
Test scenario development
Test plan execution

• Support system implementations, enhancements, and integrations

• Perform business process mapping and identify opportunities for improvement

• Manage upstream and downstream dependencies

• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines

• Use tools like Jira for tracking requirements, defects, and project progress

• Assist in troubleshooting issues and providing data-driven solutions
