3+ months Contract to Hire

Rate:
$70 – $75/hour (Corp to Corp)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in designing and building scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Services, Databricks, SQL, and Python. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to deep dive into technical implementations and architecture decisions.

This role supports initiatives within the Healthcare domain, working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end Azure data pipelines
Build scalable data processing solutions using Azure Databricks
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Python and SQL
Implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory or similar services
Work with large datasets to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into data solutions
Perform deep technical analysis and troubleshoot complex data engineering issues
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with Healthcare industry standards
Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations
Document technical designs, workflows, and implementation details

Required Skills & Qualifications

12+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Strong experience building Azure Data Pipelines
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
Strong programming experience in Python
Advanced SQL skills for data transformation and performance tuning
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, or related Azure services
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data modeling
Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills
Ability to deep dive into technical projects and explain design decisions clearly
