Role summary

Gaijin, a developer of AAA-grade online games like "War Thunder" and "Enlisted", is seeking a remote QA Engineer Manager. The role involves manually testing game projects, logging results and defects in internal systems, and collaborating with developers. Key requirements include familiarity with bug-tracking systems (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.), experience testing game projects, understanding of testing methodologies, knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.), and awareness of software development processes. Experience with Linux and test documentation are considered a plus. The company offers work on large-scale projects with innovative technologies and an international team.

# QA Engineer

Gaijin develops AAA-grade online games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms, including the popular MMO "War Thunder", "Enlisted" and other games.

We are looking for a QA engineer Manager to join our team.

## What you will do:

Manually test high‑quality game projects;
Log test results and defects in the internal tracking system;
Collaborate closely with developers.

## What we’re looking for:

Familiarity with bug‑tracking systems (Bugzilla, Jira, Mantis, Redmine);
Experience testing game projects;
Understanding of testing tools, methods, and techniques;
Knowledge of version control systems (SVN, CVS, Git or similar);
Understanding of software/game development processes;
Strong attention to detail and overall technical literacy;
Ability to work in a team, reproduce non‑standard gameplay scenarios, passion for games, and knowledge of gaming terminology.

## Nice to have:

Experience with Linux;
Interest in aviation and ground vehicles;
Experience with test documentation and reporting.
