GEOSPACE is a startup out of Minneapolis, doing exciting work with 3D for the real estate industry. We are focused and thoughtful, with new perspectives on acquiring, transforming, and applying data in this space unlike anyone before us. The Role

We're looking for a Senior iOS Developer to own and lead our mobile application - the front door of everything we build. You'll be responsible for the scanning experience that captures the raw spatial data our entire pipeline depends on, which means your work directly shapes the quality of everything downstream. This is a lead position and collaboration is crucial. You will be working closely with our data science team, computer vision engineers, backend and frontend teams, project lead, and CEO.

What You'll Own

• Lead all iOS development for our 3D scanning mobile application
• Build and optimize the LiDAR scanning pipeline using ARKit and Apple's depth APIs
• Collaborate with our computer vision and data science team on on-device preprocessing and frame capture strategy
• Own the full app lifecycle - architecture, development, TestFlight distribution, and App Store deployment
• Contribute to decisions on scanning UX, data quality thresholds, and on-device vs. server-side processing tradeoffs

Required

• 5+ years of iOS development in Swift
• Hands-on production experience with ARKit
• Demonstrated experience working with LiDAR point cloud data on Apple hardware
• Experience managing TestFlight pipelines and App Store submissions
• Strong understanding of iOS performance, memory management, and concurrency
• AI-forward mindset - leverage AI to further your depth and velocity
• Ability to work onsite in Minneapolis at least part of the week (hybrid)

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with depth super-resolution techniques (e.g. Prompt Depth Anything or similar)
• Experience integrating iOS apps with GCP-hosted backend services
• Comfort reading computer vision research papers and translating concepts into implementation

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary:
$150,000 - $185,000 (based on experience), plus bonus
