Role summary
Giga Energy is seeking a strategic Recruiter to own the full recruiting lifecycle for critical roles in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. This role requires proactive sourcing, engaging passive candidates, and delivering top-tier talent. Responsibilities include partnering with hiring managers, designing interview processes, assessing candidates for exceptional qualities, and utilizing recruiting data to optimize processes. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with demonstrated success in hiring for manufacturing and supply chain roles, and closing senior or niche positions. Expertise in sourcing, talent assessment, stakeholder management, and recruiting analytics is essential. Proficiency with ATS (Greenhouse, Lever) and LinkedIn Recruiter is required. Preferred experience includes startup environments, agency and in-house backgrounds, and building hiring frameworks.

You'll be expected to move with urgency, source proactively, and consistently deliver the top 5% of available talent — not just whoever is actively looking. This isn't a reactive, inbound-only role. You'll build pipelines before the need is urgent, engage passive candidates who aren't on the job boards, and bring a point of view to every search you run. Where You'll Work
We are an in-office culture — velocity matters when you're building physical infrastructure, and the best decisions happen in the room. This role is ideally based in our San Francisco, Long Beach, or Houston offices, with full-time onsite expectations outside of bi-weekly WFH Fridays.
That said, we will make exceptions for truly exceptional talent if you live outside one of our hubs. If you're the right person for this role, we'll have a conversation about what works.
