Role summary
CloudKey, the cloud division of Global IP Networks, seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Level 3) to manage complex issues within their multi-tenant cloud environment. This role involves deep technical remediation, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes for issues related to Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation 5, IBM Spectrum Virtualize, and Zerto replication. Responsibilities include troubleshooting compute, network, storage, and DR, ensuring storage performance and availability, and improving VCF5 lifecycle operations, performance bottlenecks, and monitoring. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of cloud/virtualization experience and 3+ years with VMware vSphere/VCF and NSX, along with strong enterprise storage and Zerto replication experience.

Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Level 3)
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to serve as the Level 3 escalation point for the CloudKey platform. You will own deep technical remediation, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes across our multi‑tenant cloud environment built on Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation 5, IBM Spectrum Virtualize, and Zerto.
What You’ll Own
- Tier 3 escalation for complex infrastructure and customer‑impacting issues
- Troubleshooting interoperability problems between:
- ○ Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation 5
- ○ IBM Spectrum Virtualize / IBM SAN
- ○ Zerto replication workflows
- Hands‑on troubleshooting across compute, network, storage, and DR
- Root cause analysis and long‑term corrective actions for recurring VCF5 issues
- Ensuring storage performance, availability, and capacity in a multi‑tenant environment
- Collaboration with engineering teams to improve VCF5–IBM storage integration, workflows, and automation
What You’ll Improve
- VCF5 lifecycle operations affected by storage behavior
- Performance bottlenecks, latency issues, and SAN fabric inconsistencies
- Monitoring, alerting, runbook creation, and knowledge‑base documentation
- Storage provisioning workflows within CloudKey
- VMware cluster optimization (HA, resource allocation)
- API integrations
Required Expertise
- 5+ years in cloud, virtualization, or data center infrastructure
- 3+ years hands‑on with Broadcom VMware vSphere/VCF and NSX
- Strong enterprise storage experience (IBM Spectrum Virtualize preferred)
- Deep understanding of SAN, IOPS/latency tuning, multipathing, and storage‑to‑hypervisor interactions
- Experience with Zerto replication and failover workflows

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
