We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with various office tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent phone etiquette, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
· Welcome visitors and drivers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering, screening and referring inquires
· Scale trucks in/out and perform data entry for into GDD Database
· Communicate with customers and team to acknowledge and organize orders
· Create Bills of Lading using customer purchase orders
· Create temp recorders and Export Bills of Lading are assigned shipper and dispatch numbers
· Create and update weekly load sheet
· Prepare the schedule for the day as needed
· Check in/out hay trucks as needed
· Assist with maintaining office supply inventory
· Other clerical and administrative tasks which may not be defined here

· Ability to multi-task while maintaining deadlines and managing administrative support

· Position may require working various hours, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
· At least 1 year administrative/clerical experience
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants will be given preference
· Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word experience/proficiency required – all applicants should expect to take a skills tests prior to any offer of employment

Pay: $14.05 - $17.00 per hour
