Role summary

Seeking a Development Test Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and at least 1 year of experience in mechanical structures design or analysis. The role involves creating test stand concepts, designing structures, fluid systems, and mechanisms, and supervising their integration. Responsibilities include operating test stands, conducting development tests, and maintaining test equipment. Proficiency in Unigraphics (NX), FEA, and GD&T principles is required. Basic programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS are preferred. A Master's degree in a related field is a plus.

Create test stand concepts, fabrication drawings, wiring schematics, and instrumentation lists
Design and analyze structures, fluid systems, and mechanisms
Supervise the integration of test stands including fabrication, mechanical assembly, and data/control systems
Operate test stands with a high degree of attention to detail
Conduct development tests for new structures, components, and mechanisms
Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful project completion
Maintain and troubleshoot test equipment as necessary
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
1+ years of experience in mechanical structures design or analysis
Preferred Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
Understanding of GD&T principles
Experience with Unigraphics (NX) and finite element analysis (FEA)
Hands-on design and fabrication experience
Basic programming skills (Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS preferred)
