A Security Solutions Specialist is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to join their field engineering team. This role focuses on the end-to-end installation, maintenance, and fault-finding of advanced Intruder Alarm and Electronic Security Systems for commercial and residential sites. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in system installation and maintenance, expertise in fault-finding electronic security systems and low-voltage circuits, and ideally proficiency with Risco hardware and software. Are you a hands-on technical expert looking to take ownership of high-end security installations? We are looking for a Security Engineer who excels at deploying advanced Intruder Alarm systems and maintaining the safety of premier commercial and residential sites. You’ll be working with industry-leading hardware like Risco systems, ensuring every installation meets the highest NSI/SSAIB standards while troubleshooting complex electrical faults on the fly.
The Role
- Lead the end-to-end installation of sophisticated Intruder Alarm systems across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties.
- Conduct comprehensive preventative maintenance and high-level servicing to ensure maximum system uptime and reliability.
- Perform advanced diagnostic fault-finding across electronic security circuits and integrated security networks.
- Execute small-scale electrical remedial works and system upgrades to maintain compliance with modern safety regulations.
- Participate in a call-out rota to provide critical technical support and breakdown resolution for key clients.
What You'll Need
- Proven professional experience in the installation and maintenance of Intruder Alarms and Electronic Security Systems.
- Strong technical proficiency with Risco security hardware and software platforms is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated expertise in fault-finding for electronic security systems and low-voltage electrical circuits.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to represent the brand professionally on high-profile client sites.
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your own tool kit and navigate complex site drawings independently.
