You will leverage high-level automation to drive mission-forward change, integrating DevSecOps maturity into large-scale government infrastructure using Ansible and Python.

The Role

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced automation solutions to manage system infrastructure and applications for DoD missions.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure the smooth deployment of critical naval system platforms.
  • Drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, and monitoring across multi-platform environments including RHEL and Windows.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot, triage, and resolve complex automation issues using Ansible and PowerShell.
  • Architect Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) frameworks to improve scalability and system reliability.

What You'll Need

  • 6+ years of experience supporting DoD or government agencies with an active Secret clearance.
  • 3+ years of expertise in troubleshooting and resolving automation issues using Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Version Control (Git), Virtualization (VMware), and Operating Systems (RHEL/Windows).
  • Proven experience in an Agile development environment with the ability to design scalable CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; experience with containerization, API design, and JSON/YAML is highly preferred.
