Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA or MBA credentials preferred. A minimum of five years of professional experience in accounting or related fields, ideally within the healthcare industry, is required. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills, is necessary to perform detailed financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with strong communication skills—both written and verbal. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is crucial. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Perform account reconciliations and analyses, prepare journal entries, and review accounting classifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify, research, and resolve complex accounting issues promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with finance team members to support overall departmental goals and initiatives.
  • Monitor departmental workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and resource optimization while maintaining high accuracy levels.
  • Respond to inquiries from finance leadership regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
  • Support the coordination and preparation for annual audits, providing necessary documentation and insights.
  • Handle confidential financial data with discretion, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned, contributing to process improvements and strategic initiatives.
