About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud services and DevOps practices, with a proven track record in similar roles. Required qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps, with deep expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda), infrastructure as code (Terraform), container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS), and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with tools such as Octopus Deploy, Argo CD, GitOps methodologies, and SaaS product deployment is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, team collaboration, and the ability to think critically under pressure. A background in startup environments and solutions-focused thinking will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, automating deployment pipelines, and maintaining CI/CD workflows using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and Octopus. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud resources to ensure high availability, security, and cost-efficiency. Collaborating closely with software development teams, you will facilitate continuous integration and deployment processes, utilizing tools such as Argo CD and GitOps practices. You will also oversee the configuration and management of SaaS products, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and implement best practices for cloud security. Additionally, your role involves mentoring junior team members, documenting processes, and contributing to strategic planning for future infrastructure growth and improvements.
