Role summary

We are seeking a Data Business Analyst with 7-8 years of experience in the Individual Insurance domain. The role requires a strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Mart, and Data Lake concepts, along with hands-on experience in writing basic SQL queries. Responsibilities include gathering requirements for adding new source systems, creating Source to Target Mapping (STM) and Business Requirements Documents (BRD), and understanding data modeling concepts like incremental/full loads, slowly changing dimensions, and fact/dimension tables. Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills are essential for this hybrid role in Toronto.

Role - Data Business Analyst

Location – Canada, Toronto(Hybrid–2/ 3 days a week)

JD:

Data BA - Individual Insurance

- 7 to 8 years’ experience as
Data BA
- Good knowledge on Data Warehousing , Data Mart and Data Lake concepts
- Hands on experience writing basic SQLs
- Hands on experience on gathering requirements to add new source systems to existing Datawarehouse / Data Lake systems.
- Hands on experience creating STM (Source to Target Mapping ) / BRD (Business Requirements) documents.
- Awareness of individual insurance and Sales Prospects to Policy In force domain experience
- Good communication skills and can collaborate with different stake holders to gather requirements / resolve issues.
- Good understanding of following concepts
- Incremental load / Full load
- Slowly changing dimensions
- Ingestion / Curation / Symantec layers
- Fact / Dim tables
