Role summary

HME is seeking a Test Engineer II to join their innovative team in the drive-thru and pro-audio industries. This role involves designing, developing, and documenting Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems, as well as evaluating and recommending test methods. The engineer will also generate test procedures, monitor pilot production, and train technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic circuits, programming skills, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools, and at least 3 years of related experience. A BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required. This is an onsite, full-time position with a pay range of $75,200 - $100,300 annually.

We are currently recruiting for a Test Engineer II.
What You Will Do In The Position

  • Design, develop, and document Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems.
  • Develop, evaluate, and recommend state-of-the-art and cost-effective test methods and equipment.
  • Generates test procedures and test data sheets.
  • Monitors pilot production activities.
  • Train Technicians on tester operation and troubleshooting.
  • Perform all other job responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Need To Succeed

  • Good understanding of electronic circuits and design.
  • Programming skills in both low and high level programming languages.
  • Knowledge and ability to program automated test equipment (ATE).
  • Knowledge in the use of Lean Manufacturing tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to identify cause and effect relationships.
  • The right person is committed to active participation in a continuous improvement culture.
  • Strong/effective communication skills.
  • MS Office Suite knowledge.

The posted pay range, $75,200 - $100,300, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
