Job Description
Honeywell is seeking a Test Engineer to work under the supervision of a Senior Engineer or Manager. The candidate selected for this position will maintain software used to control Automated Test Equipment in addition to all aspects to test station build process. This will include following station build documentation and activities that include station rack & stack, I/O box builds, decomposing customer requirements, reviewing test plans and documents, documenting software operation, following change control procedures, generating/maintaining test record databases and converting Test Software to run on modern Operating Systems. Ideal candidate will be able to contribute to development and deployment of NI LabVIEW, Python and Keysight VEE software applications
Responsibilities

  • Build new test stations, assist in managing material and test equipment
  • Support Mfg floor issues, troubleshoot/repair test stations
  • Development of RF-Test Automation Software and Test Stations.
  • Updating legacy Test Software to run on new systems.
  • Documenting Test Station Configuration, Test Procedures and Test Software.
  • Debugging RF-Test Automation Software and Test Stations.
  • Evaluating new test equipment, test software and procedures.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • Knowledge in the areas of software engineering and/or RF electronics.
  • Technology studies or direct work experience with computer/database programming concepts.
  • Proficient in the use of electrical and RF test equipment.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain & maintain a US DoD Security Clearance is required.
  • Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with knowledge in the areas of software engineering and/or RF test.
  • Experience working with RF and communications equipment in K, Ka and V bands
  • Familiar with automated testing methods and tools.
  • Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing.
  • Experience in SQL database design and management.

The annual base salary range for this position is $78,430.00 - $97,980.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
