Sr Paralegal
Job Description
As a Sr Paralegal here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal support and assistance to our legal team, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating smooth operations within the organization.
You will report directly to the General Counsel of Litigation of Aerospace and you’ll work on a Hybrid work schedule from Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC location.
In this role, you will support the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal operations, helping to manage legal documents, support litigation processes, and ensure that our legal practices align with corporate policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various case management and other related tasks at direction of attorneys
- Support information gathering and document collection for responding to subpoenas and document requests and for preparation of regulatory filings
- Manage legal findings
- Prepare and issue legal holds
- Review and distribute service of process and related legal documents/communications
- Support outside counsel retention processes and procedures
- Support legal department vendors and Honeywell Finance with legal billing processes
- Support M&A due diligence
- Prepare KPI’s, metrics, and reporting as needed by the Legal Department and other stakeholders, including internal and external auditors
- Ensure functional compliance to corporate policy and legal department guidelines
- Support ad hoc special projects and initiatives

- Conduct legal research and provide analysis and recommendations to attorneys
- Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and pleadings
- Assist in managing case files and maintaining legal databases
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties to gather necessary information and documentation
- Support attorneys in preparing for meetings, hearings, and trials
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- At least 3 years or more experience working as a Paralegal
- Strong matter management, Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams) and SharePoint skills/proficiency

- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
- Experience in-house at a public or private company
- Paralegal certification or education
- Knowledge of compliance laws of various countries

- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
