Role summary

A global engineering and technology business seeks an RF Product Line Manager to own a key product portfolio in aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and industrial markets. This role involves full product lifecycle management, from roadmap development to market execution. Responsibilities include driving product strategy, collaborating with engineering and sales teams, analyzing market trends, and achieving revenue and growth targets. The ideal candidate has strong Product Management experience in a technical environment, a background in RF technologies, and the ability to manage both technical and commercial aspects, including P&L performance. A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.

RF Product Line Manager

We’re supporting a global engineering and technology business that designs and manufactures high-performance components used in mission-critical applications across aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and industrial markets. They are looking to appoint an RF Product Line Manager to take ownership of a key product portfolio, driving strategy, growth, and commercial performance.

The role:

This is a highly visible position responsible for managing the full product lifecycle – from roadmap development through to market execution. You’ll work closely with engineering, sales, and leadership teams to align product strategy with market demand and business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

Own and drive the product line strategy, including roadmap development and long-term growth plans
Manage the full product lifecycle, from concept through to end-of-life
Work closely with engineering teams on new product development and technical direction
Partner with commercial teams to support sales strategy, pricing, and market positioning
Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities
Deliver on revenue, margin, and growth targets for the product line
Act as the key interface between technical and commercial stakeholders

What they’re looking for:

Strong experience in Product Management / Product Line Management within a technical or engineering-led environment
Background in RF (radio frequency), microwave, or related technologies
Ability to bridge technical and commercial discussions confidently
Experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, and P&L performance
Strong stakeholder management skills across engineering, sales, and leadership
Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field preferred
