Role Overview

As the Business Systems Product Owner at Infinity Home Services, you will serve as the strategic and operational owner of our Estimation and Measurement systems across all brands. This includes tools such as SumoQuote, HomeBuilder, EagleView, Hover, and other related platforms that support the in-home sales experience.

This role is responsible for ensuring these systems operate reliably, evolve intentionally, and support a consistent, high-performing sales process from appointment through contract signing. You will own the backlog, prioritize enhancements, manage vendor relationships, and drive adoption across the organization.

You will act as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery. This role ensures they are translated into clear requirements and executed through disciplined vendor and development management. Success in this role requires strong ownership, urgency, and the ability to operate independently without constant oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall strategy, performance, and evolution of the Estimation and Measurement system stack across all brands.
  • Maintain full accountability for backlog management, prioritization, issue triage, enhancements, and ongoing system stability.
  • Drive operational excellence by ensuring systems are structured, documented, and scalable across multiple brands and markets.
  • Run a consistent operating rhythm with super users, particularly within HomeBuilder, to gather feedback, validate improvements, and increase adoption.
  • Partner with Sales and Production leadership to ensure tools support a unified and effective in-home customer experience.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, structured documentation for developers and vendors.
  • Manage vendor relationships including prioritization, timelines, quality of delivery, and accountability to agreed outcomes.
  • Monitor system performance and adoption, identifying gaps that impact close rates, estimating accuracy, margin, or downstream production results.
  • Collaborate with other application and data owners to ensure integrations, reporting, and data flow function as intended.
  • Support additional initiatives or system improvements as the platform and organization continue to scale.
  • Own intake, triage, and resolution of support tickets, coordinating with vendors, developers, and internal stakeholders as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product ownership.
  • Demonstrated experience managing external vendors or development partners and driving delivery through others.
  • Strong understanding of sales process workflows, preferably within residential construction, home services, or a related industry.
  • Proven ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and move initiatives forward without heavy supervision.
  • Experience translating ambiguous business needs into structured requirements and delivered solutions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a track record of aligning execution with broader strategic goals.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with sales leaders, super users, developers, and executive stakeholders.
  • High level of accountability, urgency, and bias toward action.
