THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking to bring on an Associate Recruiter who wants to build a long term career in technology staffing.
This role starts in recruiting where you will work directly with our Recruiting Manager to learn our systems, processes, and how we identify and qualify high level technology talent. You will learn the full lifecycle of recruiting while developing a deep understanding of infrastructure roles including systems, network, cloud, security, and project management.
This is not a long term recruiting seat.
The goal of this role is to fast track into a sales position. After roughly 3 to 6 months of training and performance in recruiting, the right person will transition into a Business Development role working directly with the Founder. From there you will learn how to build client relationships, generate new business, and run a full desk.
This is a ground floor opportunity to learn the business the right way and grow into a revenue producing role.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Work directly with the Recruiting Manager to learn the full life cycle recruiting process
Source and engage technology professionals across infrastructure disciplines including systems engineering, network engineering, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and technical project management
Conduct candidate qualification calls to evaluate technical experience, career goals, and cultural fit
Present qualified candidates to internal account managers and leadership
Learn how to effectively position opportunities to passive candidates in a competitive market
Maintain candidate activity and recruiting metrics in Bullhorn
Build relationships with consultants throughout the interview process and during client engagements
Collaborate with the sales team to understand hiring manager expectations and project requirements
Gather market intelligence from candidate conversations including hiring trends, compensation insights, and potential business opportunities
YOUR BACKGROUND
1 to 2 years of recruiting, sales, or customer facing experience preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly
High energy with a strong sense of urgency
Competitive mindset with a desire to win and improve
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities
Self motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
Interest in building a long term career in technology staffing and sales
YOUR GROWTH AT INFRATECH
Month 1
Learn our recruiting process, tools, and systems including Bullhorn
Shadow experienced team members on candidate calls and client discussions
Begin sourcing candidates and supporting active searches
Learn the fundamentals of infrastructure technology roles
Month 3
Own candidate sourcing and qualification for active searches
Build a network of infrastructure professionals
Contribute directly to recruiting delivery for client roles
Demonstrate consistent activity and performance
Month 3 to 6
Transition from recruiting into business development training
Begin learning client development, account management, and market strategy
Work directly with the Founder to understand how new client relationships are built
Prepare to transition into a full sales role
