Product Manager
Role summary
The IT Product Manager (Owner) is responsible for delivering business value through agile processes by acting as the voice of the customer and managing the product backlog. This role involves breaking down features into stories, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring alignment with the product roadmap. The Product Manager will prioritize work based on business strategy and value, conduct analysis on feature performance, and participate in all agile ceremonies, including PI Planning and System Demos. A Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field is required, along with strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and leadership skills. Preferred qualifications include 5 years of Agile experience and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience.
The IT Product Manager (Owner) leverages an agile process and mindset to deliver business value for our stakeholders. Serving as the voice of the customer for the agile teams. this position helps teams to successfully deliver on their commitments through effectively managing the product backlog with the Product Manager along with ensuring there is clear acceptance criteria and a product roadmap that the agile teams can execute. The IT Product Manager (Owner) responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Acts as the voice of the customer and product management vision for the team.
- Owns, maintains and prioritizes the Team Backlog breaks Features into stories, ensure capacity for new features and defects.
- Owns the delivery plan and progress to the plan (Feature Complete and Iteration Objectives) to the Product Manager.
- Accountable for the readiness and acceptance of the work.
- Ensures the work itself is delivered within the guidelines and milestones of the Product Roadmap.
- Engages in all Agile ceremonies, PI Planning and System Demos.
- Prioritizes based on understanding strategies, budget, epic, requirements, goals and the value that features and stories provide the business.
- Facilitates process mapping, feature mapping w/ Personas, gap analysis, data flow to help assess business implications of feature, tool, or platform.
- Conducts analysis to determine how features are performing and how they can be improved.
Reports to the IT Director Tribe Lead.

Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects/deadlines at one time.
- Bachelors degree in information systems or related field.
- Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and leadership capabilities.
- 5 years of Agile experience is strongly preferred.
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience is strongly preferred.
- In applicable work group: Licensed candidates must possess and maintain active licensure in accordance with Oklahoma State law.
