
AI Product Manager
Ivory Cloud is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AI Product Manager to join our team supporting a vital government contract. In this role, you’ll work directly with government stakeholders to identify high-impact problems and design AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable value. You’ll serve as the bridge between customer needs, technical teams, and product outcomes—owning the lifecycle from problem discovery through solution design and implementation. Experience working within federal environments or embedded in government working groups is essential.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship. This is different than being eligible to work in the U.S. U.S. Citizenship is non-negotiable.
- In-office two days a week in Rockville, MD is required.
- Ability to pass multiple background and employment checks - federal and local.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Information Systems).
- Demonstrated experience working within federal or government environments, including participation in working groups or cross-agency initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with government customers and stakeholders to identify operational challenges and opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and AI solution concepts.
- Design AI-enabled products and workflows that address mission needs while aligning with technical and regulatory constraints.
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and working groups to refine problem statements and validate solution approaches.
- Partner with technical teams (data scientists, engineers) to guide development of AI models, tools, and systems.
- Prioritize product features and initiatives based on mission impact, feasibility, and stakeholder input.
- Support the development of prototypes, pilots, and production-ready AI solutions.
- Ensure solutions align with responsible AI practices, governance standards, and federal compliance requirements.
- Track product performance and outcomes, using metrics to inform iteration and continuous improvement.
- Act as a key liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in product management, preferably with AI/ML-driven products or data-driven solutions.
- Experience working in or alongside federal agencies, including participation in working groups or stakeholder forums.
- Strong ability to translate complex problems into structured solutions and actionable requirements.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their practical applications in business or government settings.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Quick learner with a strong desire to stay current on emerging technologies, especially AI.
- Success-driven and committed to delivering high-quality results.
- Moldable, Coachable, and Open-Minded approach to feedback and new ideas.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
