<Responsibilities>

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud architecture solutions utilizing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Rackspace.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, enabling repeatable and automated deployment processes.
• Manage virtualization environments including VMware, OpenStack, Citrix, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Build and support containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes to facilitate scalable microservices architectures.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, PowerShell, Bash scripting, and other DevOps tools to accelerate software deployment cycles.
• Implement system hardening practices and security protocols such as VPNs, system updates, and access controls to safeguard cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize web services, RESTful APIs, SaaS/PaaS solutions, and database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server for high availability and performance.

<Qualifications>

• Proven experience in cloud computing environments with a strong understanding of cloud architecture principles across multiple platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or Rackspace.
• Extensive knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, Citrix; experience with system hardening and security best practices.
• Hands-on expertise with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), Ruby or Node.js for automation tasks.
• Solid background in IT infrastructure management with familiarity in operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
• Strong understanding of web services (RESTful APIs), microservices architecture, NoSQL databases like NoSQL solutions or NoSQL databases (MongoDB), relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle).
• Experience working within Agile development environments with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse teams. Pay: $105,074.89 - $126,541.80 per year
