This role offers the opportunity to lead and scale a high-impact Mobile Platform engineering organization that underpins multiple customer-facing products. You will define the mobile platform vision, drive technical strategy, and ensure a seamless, high-performing experience across iOS and Android applications. The position blends hands-on technical leadership with people management, allowing you to mentor engineering leaders, shape team structures, and influence long-term product architecture. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data, and Compliance teams to innovate and optimize mobile experiences. This is a highly visible role with measurable impact, driving both customer satisfaction and business growth in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment. You will also champion engineering best practices, CI/CD, and testing frameworks to accelerate delivery and maximize reliability across mobile products.
Accountabilities

  • Define and execute the mobile platform vision, establishing a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of engineers, fostering ownership, accountability, and professional development
  • Drive the development of robust native mobile applications, ensuring seamless user experiences for loan application, account management, and repayments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, UX/UI Design, Data Analytics, and Loan Product teams to define mobile strategies, roadmaps, and priorities
  • Implement best practices for CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment to improve engineering efficiency and application reliability
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for engineering performance, product quality, and business impact
  • Provide guidance on mobile architecture, reusable components, release pipelines, and testing frameworks to accelerate product delivery

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading mobile engineering teams in high-growth, consumer-facing technology companies
  • Strong background in native mobile development using React Native for iOS and Android, with expertise in scalable architectures and engineering best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to scale and structure engineering teams, balancing technical leadership with people management responsibilities
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Analytics teams to deliver customer-centric mobile experiences
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to define, measure, and optimize KPIs for engineering and product performance
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to influence across remote and distributed teams
  • Track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications in fast-paced, agile environments
