You will design and deliver structured learning journeys that combine product knowledge, sales competencies, and real-world application, ensuring new team members are set up for long-term success. Operating in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, you will partner closely with sales leadership, product teams, HR, and enablement stakeholders to align onboarding with business priorities. The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, from instructional design to live training delivery and program optimization. You will play a critical role in shaping how new sales professionals experience their first months in the organization. By continuously improving onboarding effectiveness, you will directly influence ramp time, productivity, and engagement. Accountabilities
- Design and develop a structured onboarding curriculum aligned with sales competencies, product knowledge, and role expectations, grounded in adult learning principles.
- Lead the end-to-end onboarding program lifecycle, including pre-work, live training sessions, virtual learning, and reinforcement activities.
- Plan and execute both virtual and in-person onboarding sessions, managing logistics, content delivery, and facilitation coordination.
- Collaborate with sales managers, product managers, and channel leaders to define learning objectives, success metrics, and real-world selling scenarios.
- Partner with HR and recruiting teams to ensure a seamless and consistent onboarding experience from offer acceptance through ramp-up.
- Load and manage onboarding content within learning management or enablement platforms and ensure smooth program delivery.
- Collect feedback, track onboarding KPIs, and continuously refine the program to improve engagement, knowledge retention, and time-to-productivity.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, onboarding, learning & development, or related fields.
- Strong background in instructional design and familiarity with adult learning frameworks such as ADDIE or SAM.
- Proven experience designing and delivering onboarding or training programs for sales or commercial teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and timelines.
- Experience facilitating both virtual and in-person training sessions in a professional environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across functions.
- Experience with LMS or enablement platforms such as Allego, Highspot, or Showpad is highly desirable.
- Background in B2B, technology, or complex enterprise environments is a plus.
