We are hiring for a leadership role within an advanced aerospace engineering environment focused on engine propulsion systems. This position offers the opportunity to lead high-impact programs supporting military aircraft engines and next-generation propulsion technologies.

About Role

As a Senior Engineering Program Manager, you will lead engineering activities for military fixed-wing engine programs. You will manage cross-functional teams, oversee program execution, and ensure alignment with customer requirements while driving innovation, performance, and reliability across engine product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all engineering activities across production, development, and sustainment programs
• Oversee program scope, schedule, cost, and technical execution
• Develop and execute staffing, training, and team development strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on new product pursuits
• Drive resolution of technical and production challenges through cross-functional coordination
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Apply root cause analysis to resolve production and field issues
• Ensure program milestones, budgets, and deliverables are met
• Lead sustaining engineering activities to improve product performance, durability, and reliability
• Support new engine application development and growth initiatives
• Implement Agile methodologies where applicable
• Drive continuous improvement through structured processes and operational frameworks
• Partner with design, systems, and supply chain teams for flawless execution
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (or related field)
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace or engine product design, development, and sustainment
• 3+ years of experience leading technical or engineering teams
• Strong program management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience across full product lifecycle development
• Background in gas turbine or propulsion systems
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Proven ability to manage complex engineering programs
• Experience working in cross-functional and matrix organizations
• Knowledge of industry quality and customer requirements
• Ability to lead in high-pressure or uncertain environments
