Dice is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer with 8-10+ years of experience and strong expertise in the Azure ecosystem for Data Capital Inc. The role involves designing and building scalable data platforms, including data pipelines, batch and real-time processing solutions, and ETL/ELT workflows. Key responsibilities include working with Azure, Databricks, Spark (PySpark), ADLS, Delta Lake, designing data models, and ensuring data quality, governance, and security. The position also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers. A minimum of 10 years in data engineering and expertise in SQL and performance tuning are required.

We are looking for a Senior/Lead Data Engineer (8–10+ years experience) with strong expertise in the Azure ecosystem to design and build scalable data platforms.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure & Databricks
Build batch and real-time data processing solutions
Develop ETL/ELT workflows and optimize performance
Work with ADLS, Delta Lake, and Spark (PySpark)
Design data models for analytics and reporting
Ensure data quality, governance, and security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
Requirements:
10+ years in data engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks & Spark
Expertise in SQL and performance tuning
Experience with Delta Lake and modern data lakehouse architecture
Knowledge of streaming tools (Kafka/Event Hub preferred).
