Role summary
A rapidly growing food and beverage manufacturing organization seeks a Sourcing Data Analyst in Toronto, ON. This full-time, permanent role focuses on managing demand data, building analytical tools, and providing insights to support sourcing strategy, cost optimization, and cross-functional decision-making. SOURCING DATA ANALYST

We are working with a well-established and rapidly growing organization within the food and beverage manufacturing space that is seeking a Sourcing Data Analyst to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven professional to play a key role in supporting sourcing strategy, cost optimization, and cross-functional decision-making within a dynamic environment.
About the Opportunity
This role sits within the sourcing function and is responsible for managing demand data, building analytical tools, and providing insights that drive procurement and supply chain decisions. You will work closely with sourcing, finance, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy, support pricing strategies, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain demand planning and sourcing data to support strategic decision-making
- Build and enhance forecasting models, cost analyses, and tracking tools
- Manage data accuracy across systems, including vendor onboarding and item setup
- Maintain and update pricing within ERP systems in alignment with supplier agreements
- Develop KPI dashboards and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar)
- Conduct spend and pricing analysis to identify savings opportunities and supplier optimization
- Support invoice reconciliation by partnering with Accounts Payable on discrepancies
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable on supplier rebates and recovery tracking
- Support sourcing projects related to pricing alignment and supplier changes
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting, analytics, and sourcing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a data analytics or supply chain-focused role
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is an asset
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large datasets and provide actionable insights
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
