UI Designer

Seeking a user interface designer for a desktop application. This application is a developer tool written in Rust and Tauri.

The application is 90% finished using programmer art. We need a talented ui designer to review the design and make it look like a polished, high-quality tool. You will also give feedback to the project lead and marketing staff on ui friction areas and ways we can make the product more useful.

This is a contract position. The work is expected to last 30 to 90 days. There is possibility of follow-up work or work on additional projects. If you have the ability to create the needed html/css/javascript and art files from your designs you will have the opportunity for a longer contract.

Successful applicants have experience designing user interfaces for complicated desktop applications.

You must have experience working with developer tools (like IDEs, git, and editors) or some deep understanding of how software developers do their work. Experience with ai systems for software development is a plus.

This is not an entry level position. We are a small team and we need someone who can hit the ground running and get this product out.

Pay: $50.00 - $95.00 per hour
