
Program Manager III
Role summary
The Program Manager III will guide and manage post-sales activities for large aerospace programs, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, milestone delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality products. This role involves leading daily program execution, managing customer relationships, creating and maintaining project schedules, overseeing contract deliverables, analyzing risks, and monitoring performance using Earned Value Management (EVM). The position requires 7-10 years of aerospace program management experience and 10-15 years of related program management experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems is required, with familiarity in project management software like Microsoft Project or Smartsheet preferred. A PMP certification is also preferred. The role is full-time, onsite in San Antonio, TX, with potential for international and domestic travel.

Position Summary:
The Program Manager III is responsible for guiding and managing post sales activities of large programs ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Key focus areas include milestone delivery performance, budget adherence and high quality products while achieving business requirements. The Program Manager will represent the Company and its values and will ensure that the expectations of the Company’s customers are exceeded by performing the following:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily execution of the programs within contractual requirements to assure that the project cost, schedule, and technical performance goals are met.
- Lead the daily stand-up meeting for assigned programs, ensuring internal stakeholders understand the schedule and budget for assigned activities.
- Assist in building and maintaining the customer relationship. Manage the program to meet customer requirements and keep the customer appraised of progress.
- Create and maintain a project milestone schedule based on customer, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sub-contractor inputs.
- Schedule, assign, and support the creation, review and delivery of all contract data requirements lists (CDRLs) deliverables as defined by the contract.
- Assist with the management of subcontractors and the supply chain as needed.
- Analyze, evaluate, monitor, and overcome program risks.
- Monitor project performance utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM), communicate status of schedule, budget, compliance, and risk, to all stakeholders during weekly Program Management Review (PMR).
- Early communication to leadership and stakeholders of potential failures to meet program schedule, budget, or compliance.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Preferably in Business or Engineering) preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or other Project Management software
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Proficient user of ERP systems (CETEC preferred).
- 7-10 years of aerospace program management experience required.
- Minimum 10-15 years related program management experience in manufacturing environment required.
- PMP (Preferred).
Work Environment Requirements:
- Full-Time Position.
- Office, warehouse, and manufacturing environment.
- International and domestic travel in support of programs, implementations, or ongoing service may be required.
