Role summary

The Korea Development Bank New York Branch is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the Compliance Officer. This role involves monitoring suspicious activities, ensuring compliance with reporting and record-keeping requirements, reviewing transaction monitoring alerts and cases, and conducting enhanced due diligence on high-risk customers. The analyst will also provide guidance on KYC processes and stay updated on regulatory changes. Experience with BSA Reporter, BIXG, or World Compliance is a plus, and CAMS certification is preferred.

Tasks Performed on the Job

To support the Compliance Officer with the focus on the following:

  • Monitoring Suspicious Activity Reporting
  • Complying with relevant reporting and record keeping requirements
  • Conducting TM alert/case reviews
  • Monthly TM reconciliation and QA
  • Staying current on regulatory updates and industry practices
  • Providing advice and guidance, as needed, to the Business Lines throughout the KYC process
  • Reviewing KYC files/documentation prepared by the Business Lines
  • Conducting EDD on high-risk rated customers/counterparties

Knowledge and Skills use on the Job

  • Transaction Monitoring - Alert & Case review, SAR narratives preparation
  • KYC – Review CDDs, Perform EDDs
  • OFAC - Backup for Compliance Analyst (OFAC)

Relevant Training and Work Experience

  • CAMS certification (not a requirement but preferred.)
  • Experience in Prime Compliance Suite (BSA Reporter) is preferred
  • Experience in BIXG / World Compliance is a plus.

Salary: $70K~90K/annually
