Role summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to modernize, integrate, and support applications in a fast-paced environment. The role involves developing and maintaining applications using Java and JavaScript, designing and implementing REST/SOAP APIs and SSO integrations, and migrating applications from WebLogic to Apache Tomcat. Responsibilities also include providing production support, troubleshooting issues, ensuring system reliability, and managing real-time/batch processing architectures with IBM WebSphere MQ. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for delivering robust solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Application Developer to support application modernization, integration, and production support in a dynamic environment.

*Key Responsibilities:*

  • Develop, integrate, and maintain applications using Java, JavaScript, and related technologies.
  • Design and implement REST/SOAP APIs and SSO integrations in enterprise settings.
  • Migrate applications from WebLogic to Apache Tomcat and support similar modernization efforts.
  • Provide application production support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
  • Work with IBM WebSphere MQ and manage real-time/batch processing architectures.

*Nice-to-Have Skills:*

  • Experience with Oracle 19c+ databases.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands, Autosys, file transfer utilities, and feed hub processes.
  • Exposure to compliance domains such as Fircosoft, sanctions screening, or AML.
  • Experience developing dashboards in Tableau.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

*Education:*

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
