Role summary
We are seeking a Senior SDET with over 10 years of experience to join our team. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive end-to-end, back-end, and UI testing, as well as leading robust API testing. This role requires independent work to identify testing needs and propose improvements, alongside collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite in Chicago, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Job Summary (Senior SDET)
- Serve as a Senior SDET with 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Utilize strong Java programming skills to develop, maintain, and enhance testing frameworks.
- Implement and work with BDD frameworks, particularly Cucumber, for automated testing.
- Perform comprehensive end-to-end, back-end, and UI testing across multiple applications.
- Lead and execute robust API testing, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Work independently to identify testing needs and propose improvements to existing frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in an interview process involving coding challenges (Java) and API discussions.
- Required to work onsite in a hybrid model (3 days/week) at the Chicago office.
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
