Role summary

This role is for a Sr. Big Data Developer with 6-8 years of experience, focusing on Big Data technologies like PySpark and Scala. The position requires strong knowledge of AWS (including EKS) and Snowflake, along with an understanding of CI/CD and system design. Prior experience in Fund Transfer and AML is considered an advantage. The developer will be responsible for design, development, validation, and support activities, translating client requirements into system specifications and contributing to project estimations. The role is based in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective Design Development Validation and Support activities in line with client needs and architectural requirements
  • Ensure continual knowledge management Adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes
  • As part of the delivery team your primary role would be to ensure effective Design Development Validation and Support activities to assure that our clients are satisfied with the high levels of service in the technology domain
  • You will gather the requirements and specifications to understand the client requirements in a detailed manner and translate the same into system requirements
  • You will play a key role in the overall estimation of work requirements to provide the right information on project estimations to Technology Leads and Project Managers
  • You would be a key contributor to building efficient programs systems and if you think you fit right in to help our clients navigate their next in their digital transformation journey

Requirements

  • A good professional with 6 to 8 years of experience in Bigdata PySpark
  • AWS EKS and Data engineering Pyspark scala
  • Good knowledge of AWS and Snowflake
  • Good understanding of CICD and system design
  • Candidate with prior experience working on technologies on Fund transfer AML knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Self-starter with quick learning abilities
  • Multitask and should be able to work under stringent deadlines
  • Ability to understand and work on various internal systems
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders

Education

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science engineering or related field

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
