Role Overview

We are seeking a Generative AI Engineer to design and build AI-powered solutions that enable enterprise clients to unlock value from their data. This role focuses on developing Generative AI applications, agent-based systems, and retrieval-augmented architectures to support complex business workflows.

As a GenAI Engineer at MathCo, you will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to develop scalable AI solutions that integrate with enterprise systems and data platforms.

As a GenAI Engineer, you will:

• Design and build Generative AI applications using modern AI frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Develop agent-based workflows and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
• Integrate large language models into enterprise applications and business processes.
• Build semantic search pipelines and knowledge retrieval systems using vector databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Generative AI solutions using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Design and implement RAG architectures using tools such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
• Build agentic workflows that enable advanced AI-powered automation.
• Implement semantic search and knowledge retrieval systems using vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines that support AI model training and inference.
• Integrate LLM capabilities into enterprise applications using APIs.
• Monitor model performance and identify potential issues such as hallucinations or model drift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business needs and technical standards.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience developing Generative AI applications.
• Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Experience working with vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
• Strong understanding of LLM architectures and retrieval systems.
• Experience building scalable AI solutions within cloud environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field required.
