Frontend Engineer II
Role summary
The Frontend Engineer II is a mid-level role focused on building and maintaining user interfaces for internal platforms and external SaaS applications. POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement responsive, user-centric interfaces using frontend technologies such as Angular, .NET MVC views, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
- Translate UX designs and mockups into functional components and layouts
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services into frontend experiences
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Contribute to shared component libraries and follow established design system guidelines
- Identify and implement improvements to UI performance and accessibility across browsers and devices
- Debug and help resolve issues identified by QA or observed in production
- Document code, usage patterns, and UI behaviors
- Apply AI-assisted development tools to support UI architecture decisions, prototyping, implementation, and documentation while maintaining security and governance standards
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in Angular and strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Understanding of API integration and asynchronous UI interaction patterns
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Experience using Git and collaborating within Agile teams
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to enhance development velocity and technical quality
YEARS’ EXPERIENCE
- 2–5 years of experience in frontend development.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- The individual is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen and extensive reading. The individual in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The individual must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time.
