Hardware Test Engineer

Our client,
a global manufacturer in vision care products, is hiring a Hardware Test Engineer in Lake Forest, CA!

\*This is a 1 year W2 contract with benefits offered!\*

In this role, you will work
hands-on in the lab testing advanced medical devices, planning and executing reliability and stress tests using equipment like Calibur, multimeters, power meters, and robotic systems.
You will
apply engineering judgment to troubleshoot issues
,
ensure compliance with design controls, and contribute to continuous product improvement
in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, develop, and execute reliability tests, including environmental, life, HALT/ALT, and PCBA stress screening,
using lab equipment and robotic systems.
- Analyze test data, apply engineering judgment to troubleshoot issues,
and provide continuous feedback to support product design improvements.
- Ensure compliance with medical device design controls and documentation standards,
including DHF reports and verification/validation activities.

Requirements:

• BS/MS in ME, EE, or Biomedical with R&D reliability experience.
• Hands-on lab testing and test automation (LabView, Python, R).
• Knowledge of design principles, stats, and GMP/QSR compliance.
