Director of Software Engineering
to lead a talented team in developing and maintaining the systems that power our business.

As a key member of our IT leadership team, you’ll report to the
Chief Information Officer
and play a vital role in shaping our software strategy. You’ll guide agile teams, partner across departments, and ensure our technology evolves with our company’s mission and goals.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and inspire a high-performing software engineering organization.
• Drive the design, development, and support of internal and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align software strategy with company objectives.
• Foster a culture of innovation, growth, and continuous improvement.
• Manage budgets, priorities, and resources to deliver business-critical solutions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 15+ years in technology, with 5+ in leadership roles.
• Prior experience working for P&C Insurance organizations.
• Strong experience leading agile teams and delivering enterprise software.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills.
• A passion for mentoring others and driving impactful change.

Location:
Hybrid (between our Enumclaw, WA Home Office and remote). Candidate must live within driving distance of our Home Office and have high-speed internet

Hiring Range:
$195,214 - $216,631
