Role summary

Nidec ACIM, a division of Nidec Group, seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure high standards in product performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role involves developing and implementing quality control processes, performing tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, conducting root cause analysis, and maintaining quality documentation. The engineer will also evaluate suppliers, support product design for quality, and participate in audits. A bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 2 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing are required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with quality software and Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) are a plus.

Quality Assurance Engineer

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about building products that meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role is central to ensuring that every stage of our production and delivery process reflects excellence.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll take ownership of quality control activities, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive improvements that elevate both our products and our processes. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency, customer experience, and the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing quality control processes that strengthen product reliability.
  • Performing tests and evaluations throughout production and delivery to identify defects early.
  • Partnering with engineering, operations, and other teams to resolve quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date quality documentation.
  • Training team members on quality standards, tools, and procedures.
  • Evaluating suppliers and managing supplier quality performance.
  • Supporting product design and development to ensure quality requirements are met from the start.
  • Participating in internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Solid understanding of quality control processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Familiarity with quality software or digital tools is a plus.
  • Black belt or green belt
