Role Description

This full-time remote role as an Associate Software Engineer involves contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions to support pet care initiatives. The engineer will work on back-end technologies, write clean and efficient code, debug software, and ensure optimal performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and deliver impactful features will also be a key responsibility.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Computer Science principles and foundational knowledge of software engineering
• Experience with Back-End Web Development and Software Development concepts
• Strong skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a remote environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
