Role summary

This Manufacturing Data Analyst role focuses on leveraging data to drive product and process improvements within a manufacturing environment. The analyst will utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and visualization. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations, supporting materials testing and inspection (including X-Ray and CT scan analysis), and applying image processing techniques. The role also involves documenting and presenting technical findings to engineering and management, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in materials, manufacturing, and quality control.

Analyze materials and manufacturing process data to support product and process improvements.
Apply Python programming for data analysis, automation, and visualization tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate material and imaging insights into actionable process recommendations.
Support materials testing and inspection activities, including X-Ray and CT scan analysis (preferred).
Utilize image processing techniques to evaluate material structures, defects, and process outcomes (preferred).
Document and present technical findings, reports, and recommendations clearly to engineering and management teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to materials, manufacturing, and quality control.
