Role summary
Parallel Systems is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in dynamics, simulation, and CAD design to contribute to the design of next-generation self-propelled rail vehicles. This role involves designing and analyzing mechanical systems for performance, safety, and durability, with a focus on vehicle dynamics and structural analysis. Responsibilities include developing CAD models, conducting multibody dynamics and FEA simulations, and supporting prototype testing. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, strong CAD and simulation tool proficiency, and experience in transportation or railway applications.
