Role summary

This is a 6+ month contract role for a Product Manager in Des Moines, IA, requiring a hybrid work model (3 days onsite). The Product Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day functioning of an established product team, focusing on backlog grooming, story refinement, delivery oversight, story acceptance testing, and executing a defined product roadmap. Proficiency with Jira and Confluence is required. Experience with Salesforce CRM is strongly desired, but other CRM platforms will be considered. The role requires 4-5 years of product management experience. Preferred qualifications include Salesforce experience, a background in Financial Services (specifically wealth management), and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. The team consists of 5 engineers and 1 Product Analyst, with a highly collaborative culture involving US-based business stakeholders.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

What technologies or systems will this contingent worker be utilizing? Jira/Confluence are our work management tools. The product supports a Salesforce CRM instance.

If a candidate does not have all the technologies listed, would there be technologies you would consider “similar” and/or “transferable” for this position? I would expect a person in applying for this role to have Jira/Confluence experience/proficiency. Salesforce experience is strongly desired, but will entertain candidates with experience in other CRM platforms.
