Job Overview
Executive Director – Product: Responsible for the formulation and execution of the company's core product strategy, leading the product management team to drive the entire product lifecycle from conception to market. This position plays a decision-making role in product vision, market positioning, user experience, and commercialization path, while collaborating with multiple departments such as technology, operations, marketing, and sales to ensure that the product is highly aligned with the company's strategy and continuously drive revenue and user growth.
Core Responsibilities
I. Product Strategy and Planning
Formulate and manage the company's medium- and long-term product development strategy
Identify industry trends and market opportunities to drive product innovation
Organize the development of the product roadmap (Product... Roadmap), ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy.
II. Product Management and Delivery
Lead the full lifecycle management of multiple product lines or platforms (from requirements analysis to release).
Drive cross-departmental product development projects, ensuring on-time, high-quality, and budgetary delivery.
Establish and implement product evaluation mechanisms (e.g., KPIs, ROI, user growth, market share).
III. User and Market Insights
Conduct in-depth research into user needs, usage behaviors, and pain points to guide product decisions.
Analyze competing products and industry trends to ensure product differentiation and competitiveness.
Work closely with customer and marketing teams to drive product feedback and rapid iteration.
IV. Team Building and Leadership
Build and manage high-performing product teams (including product managers, UX designers, analysts, etc.).
Guide teams to work using agile, lean, and user-driven design methodologies.
Enhance the team's product thinking, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
V. Cross-departmental Collaboration
Work closely with departments such as engineering, design, marketing, operations, data, and legal.
Manage the communication mechanisms and pace of cross-functional product teams (e.g., Sprint, OKR, QBR).
Balance user experience, technical feasibility, and business goals to make high-quality product decisions.
Qualifications
Education Background
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Product Design, Marketing, or a related business field.
MBA or related product management education is a plus.
Work Experience
At least 18 years of product management experience, including at least 8 years of experience leading large product teams.
Experience leading product development from scratch or guiding mature products through growth bottlenecks.
Familiar with Agile, User Story, Scrum/Kanban, and other methodologies.
Experience in SaaS, B2B/B2C platforms, e-commerce, fintech, digital healthcare, or related industries is preferred.
