About the Role:
We are hiring for one of our prime clients for the position of Information Technology Data Analyst Lead. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end data analysis initiatives, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment of data and analytics solutions. The role requires deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, and business intelligence to support enterprise-level decision-making and quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle data analysis including requirements, design, development, testing, and validation
- Design and maintain databases for tracking organizational quality and performance metrics
- Develop, optimize, and manage SQL queries across transactional and analytical databases
- Monitor and maintain data integrity, interfaces, and reporting systems
- Perform data mining and analysis using SQL and BI tools
- Generate reports and dashboards to support business and clinical decision-making
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop data collection processes and reporting solutions
- Provide insights through statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Act as a subject matter expert for database systems and analytics tools
- Support data integration, cleansing, and transformation processes
- Present findings and technical solutions to leadership and executive teams
- Guide and mentor technical team members on data-related initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Advanced expertise in SQL programming for data analysis and consumption
- Strong knowledge of OLTP, OLAP, and MPP database architectures
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Impala
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, or Looker
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in SQL programming and data analysis
- 12+ years of experience writing and debugging complex SQL queries
- 12+ years of IT experience in technical analysis, design, and implementation
- 8+ years of experience working with large datasets in data warehouse environments
- Healthcare IT experience preferred
Certifications (Preferred):
- SQL, BI Tools, SAS, Hadoop, or Agile Scrum certifications
