Role summary

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Boston, MA. This full-time role focuses on building and operating a distributed cloud platform for robotics simulation, deployment, and analytics. You will be responsible for full-stack development using React, Next.js, and AWS, designing scalable backend services, APIs, and data models, and improving platform observability. The role involves contributing to technical design, mentoring other engineers, and addressing technical debt. Requirements include 5+ years of experience in full-stack or backend-heavy applications, strong AWS cloud-native systems experience, and proficiency in TypeScript and React. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD is also expected.

We're redefining how robots are deployed. Our platform enables users to simulate, test, and optimize entire robotic systems in parallel. By removing the barriers that have kept advanced robotics out of reach for all but the largest players, we're ushering in a new era of manufacturing—one where mass reshoring is not only viable, but inevitable.

We are seeking a skilled Senior Full-stack Engineer to join our team in a full-time position. Reporting to the Director of Platforms, you will work on projects that require expertise in both front-end and back-end development, specifically using React, Next.js, and AWS services. Your role will involve developing, implementing, and maintaining full-stack web applications with a focus on scalable multi-tenant distributed systems architecture.

  • Collaborate with product and UX to break down ambiguous problems and deliver intuitive and performant user experiences for complex technical workflows.
  • Contribute to the technical design for major platform features and services with consideration for security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and developer productivity.
  • Design and implement backend application services, APIs, and asynchronous workflows that power core platform functionality.
  • Improve observability, monitoring, analytics, and operational tooling across the platform.
  • Mentor other engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance.
  • Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and reliability risks proactively.
  • Contribute to engineering standards, deployment practices, and system architecture evolution.
  • Contribute to frontend architecture and implementation using React and Next.js.
