Position Description:

Redrock Entertainment Development is seeking a VP of Business Development to join its executive leadership team to help drive the next chapter of growth for the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive leader will own the business development function from product ideation to deal closing, and they will represent the Company at the highest levels to some of the world’s biggest brands. They will lead a small, established team while also carrying a personal revenue target, and will drive creative-led business development strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth in live events production and other lines of business, including festivals, brand activations, corporate events, awards shows, media production and more
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue targets for new and repeat business
  • With executive leadership, evolve product offerings and go-to-market strategy
  • Shepherd the development of creative concepts that win deals
  • Explore new partnership models and ideate new revenue streams
  • Represent Redrock Entertainment with executive decision-makers at current and prospective clients, including some of the world's most recognized global brands
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate client vision into executed projects
  • Build, lead, and develop an established team of passionate business development professionals

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in the events, production or entertainment industries
  • 4+ years in live events or experiential branding preferred
  • 7+ years business development or equivalent talent agency experience
  • Established network and rolodex of prospective clients/brands to call upon immediately
  • Proven ability to represent a company at the executive level with sophistication and credibility
  • Experience carrying and meeting personal revenue targets
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a BD team
  • Strong creative instincts — can contribute to and guide concept development
  • Experience shaping or evolving a product offering and go-to-market strategy
