2. About the Opportunity
: The
Site Reliability Engineer III
role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and SaaS application platforms on Microsoft Azure and other cloud environments. This position ensures system reliability, performance, and security while supporting continuous deployment pipelines and incident response. The role contributes to maintaining service levels and compliance, impacting the overall success and stability of the data protection platform.

3. Responsibilities
:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions on Azure and other cloud platforms
  • Automate deployments and maintain a resilient, secure SaaS platform
  • Support delivery and release pipelines
  • Continuously evaluate and improve system reliability, performance, and scalability
  • Develop monitoring and alerting solutions
  • Respond to incidents in production environments with on-call rotation participation
  • Ensure compliance with information security standards such as ISO, SOX, and SSAE 16
  • Define, document, and improve internal standards for style and maintainability
  • Provide 24/7 support

4. Requirements
:

  • 3+ years of experience in 24x7 production operations for SaaS or cloud service providers
  • Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, AppInsights, Elastic Cloud)
  • Experience managing Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills for distributed, multi-tenant environments
  • Experience with container orchestration and management platforms
  • Proficiency in system programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Go
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with distributed, event-based messaging systems (e.g., Azure Event Hub, Kafka)
  • English proficiency to communicate with international teams

Bonus Skills
:

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, DCA)
  • Experience migrating on-premises products to cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with AWS services (ECS, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
  • Experience with C# and .NET

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package
:

  • Compensation ranges based on U.S. geographic zones:
  • Zone 1: $151,500 to $252,500 USD
  • Zone 2: $138,900 to $231,400 USD
  • Zone 3: $126,300 to $210,400 USD
  • Zone 4: $109,800 to $183,000 USD
  • Total target compensation includes base pay and performance-based bonus
  • Offers consider experience, education, skills, and geographic location
