- About the Opportunity:
The Staff Performance Data Analyst plays a critical role in demonstrating the return on investment of the cybersecurity training platform. This position is responsible for analyzing complex datasets to measure how training affects human risk and presenting these findings to executive stakeholders. The role supports federal sales by translating business needs into data solutions and delivering actionable insights that influence client training strategies and security outcomes.
- Responsibilities:
• Partner with federal agency stakeholders to develop data-driven success plans aligned with security compliance needs
• Translate senior leadership business requirements into technical data solutions
• Extract and manipulate large datasets using Python and SQL to identify training impact on security incidents
• Create interactive dashboards and presentations to showcase ROI and performance metrics
• Analyze user behavior and simulation logs to identify high-risk groups and provide tailored training recommendations
• Maintain data integrity by auditing training log flows from platform to reporting layers
• Use Excel for prototyping financial models and conducting ad-hoc risk analyses
• Lead Executive Business Reviews presenting client security progress
• Collaborate with Product and Data Engineering teams to align platform telemetry with reporting needs
- Requirements:
• Expert-level SQL or Snowflake skills for querying complex databases
• Proficiency in Python for data cleaning, automation, and statistical analysis
• Mastery of Looker or similar visualization tools for executive and operational reporting
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical data to senior leaders
• Experience creating clear, persuasive presentations that connect data to organizational risk and mission
• Proven ability to manage expectations and collaborate across diverse departments
• Knowledge of client success metrics such as churn, adoption, engagement, and learning metrics
• Familiarity with the ed tech industry is a plus
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Base Salary: USD 150,000 - 180,000
