Product Manager
Role summary
The Product Manager will be responsible for both product planning and execution, driving the development of winning products from conception to launch. This role requires a deep understanding of product strategy, roadmap development, and customer requirements, with a strong emphasis on translating market trends and customer needs into actionable product insights. The Product Manager will work closely with development, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure product success, manage profitability, and meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Experience in payments or Fintech is required, along with a minimum of 5 years in product analysis or management. The role involves strategic and tactical planning, stakeholder communication, and managing product lifecycle, including issue resolution and post-launch optimization.

- The qualified candidate must have a working knowledge on how software is developed
- The role will need both tactical and strategical planning. The candidate should be a self-learner and able to work independently
- Experience with payment (i.e. prepaid or debit cards) or Fintech (required)
- Knowledge of software development process (required)
- Ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Manage competing priorities and deadlines across multiple projects
- Lead multiple product initiatives concurrently, balancing strategic objectives with tactical execution
- Identify, track, and resolve product-related issues and risks using tools like DevOps, ensuring seamless product delivery and post-launch optimization
- Able to translate research findings into actionable product insights and recommendations that drive feature development and product roadmap
- Can develop clear, concise, and comprehensive product documentation, including but not limited to requirements documents, user stories, use cases, and product overviews
- Experience working with internal and external partners, including customers and vendors at all organizational levels, to gather feedback and align on product requirements and use cases
- Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into actionable application and operational requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product analysis or product management, preferably in the payments industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Product Marketing, Business, Strategy or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an office position that involves standing, sitting, reaching, manual dexterity to operate office machines, stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, and mobility to complete errands or deliveries
- May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and muscle pain

- Reporting To: VP of Product
- The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product execution
- This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, iterating with customers and designers to clarify and refine scope, and working closely with the Development team to deliver winning products
- It also includes working with sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Building and maintaining relationships for collaboration will be critical to job success
- Articulate a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap that aligns with market trends, customer needs, and organizational goals, demonstrating strong analytical capabilities
- Oversee all dimensions of in-life product management, leveraging customer insights and feedback to drive enhancements, manage requirements, and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction
- Craft detailed Market Requirement Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that prioritize features based on market research and business impact, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams
- Manage product profitability and commercial success – own the business case
- Develop compelling core positioning and messaging that resonate with target audiences, ensuring consistent communication across all marketing channels
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations, effectively showcasing product value and facilitating insightful feedback to shape future iterations
- Propose and manage a comprehensive budget that aligns with product strategy and anticipated outcomes, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to support product success
- Develop and deliver targeted training materials for the users and service teams, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively use and support the products
- Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders—from C-level executives to individual contributors—to establish and maintain the product's vision, adeptly negotiating trade-offs in scope, cost, and timelines
- Partner with internal teams to refine product requirements, proactively anticipate potential issues, and adapt swiftly to changes in scope while ensuring clear communication of business and processing logic across all levels
- Utilize AI-powered analytics and forecasting tools to gain actionable insights from market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes, enhancing the ability to make informed product roadmap decisions and prioritize features that align with strategic business goals
