Role summary

Riis is seeking a Senior Automated Test Engineer to join their team, focusing on test automation for various projects, including those in the commercial drone sector. This is a primarily remote role with occasional on-site requirements. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for functional, API, and database testing, executing tests, analyzing results, and expanding coverage. Key duties include defining and maintaining smoke and regression test suites, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring features meet Agile 'done' criteria within sprints, managing test environments and data, and performing exploratory testing. The role also involves contributing to QA best practices and team knowledge sharing.

Riis is seeking an Automated Software Tester to join our team. In this role, you’ll focus on test automation while contributing to a range of projects, including initiatives in the commercial drone space. This is a primarily remote position, with occasional on-site visits for equipment pickup and hands-on testing when required.
Requirements & Responsibilities:

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
Experience with automated testing tools, including Appium and Selenium
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, API, and database testing
Execute tests, analyze results, and expand test coverage as new features are added
Define and maintain smoke and regression test suites to ensure build stability and software quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration, system, and acceptance testing
Ensure features meet the Agile definition of “done” through thorough testing within each sprint
Manage test environments and test data to support consistent and reliable testing
Perform manual and automated exploratory testing to identify defects and improve coverage
Contribute to QA best practices, process improvements, and team knowledge sharing
